Mother’s Day sessions 2023 Utah gave us a miracle! I am in disbelief that we didn’t have snow for mothers day; Utah has been in a snow globe of insane snow + weather!! I’m beyond grateful for all of my clients. This years weather has been unpredictable and crazy, including a Mid April heavy snow fall!! We have had so many delays in blooms from all mother nature. This year I did not have a set exact location because I knew that I would need to make sure we had blooms or a pretty location available.
With blooms continuing in delays by weeks and WEEKS ( feels like months in the photography world), I had to do a lot of moving and rescheduling to shift with the blooming flowers, grass and trees. All of these Mother’s Day Mini sessions were so patient with the weather being as awful as it has been, and no matter what location we shot at, got some absolutely INCREDIBLE images. All us photographers have been ripping our hair out for months in anticipation for these blooms, and we were able to capture some classic gorgeous ‘Utah in Bloom’ images.
My clients are so patient and were even willing to meet me at a few different locations because of the horrid weather. We did capture the majority of the mini sessions at a local greenhouse; again nothing but gratitude we had that option! But we also had a few people who requested my studio location (if you are a photographer, you can book my studio HERE!).
I decorate my studio for every season and this spring we did floating florals on the wall that were ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!
Check out my recent blog on how cute the studio was for Easter!
My favorite way to bring spring into the studio, especially with Utah being covered in snow. Even now we are in May, but we still have snow covered and coated mountains and closed canyons from snow pack and sliding roads from flooding.
Thank you times a million to all of my clients who are so patient and understanding. I do my absolute best to make sure we have beautiful backgrounds, and ensure you receive quality through and through for you and your families!
