I loved doing Bowen’s Fresh 48 in the Layton Hospital! It was a breath of fresh air to finally be allowed back in the hospital to do these! I’m glad Covid restrictions are finally starting to lighten up!
Mckenzie had an induction date, but Bowen decided to surprise them and come 12 days early! Her water broke at home around 2am, and by the time they got to the ER at 3:30am she was already dilated to a six! Her labor was pretty quick, but she ended up pushing for 2 HOURS! I pushed maybe 10 minutes with both babies, so just thinking about pushing for hours sounds absolutely exhausting! Mckenzie is an absolute champ though, and it was obviously so worth it! Baby Bowen you are a dream, and I am so grateful I got to capture these pretty photos of this special time! Newborns are truly a slice of heaven!
